How to connect to WiFi?
Step 1: Insert the battery, and the device will turn on automatically. Please wait for about 30 seconds (the green light will flash approximately 30 times).
Step 2: Open the mobile app "Tuya" or "Smart Life." Tap the "+" in the upper right corner and select "Add Device." Next, press the device four times quickly to enter connection mode. Your phone will automatically search and discover the device.
Step 3: Tap "Add" and input your WiFi account and password. Note that it only supports the 2.4GHz frequency. While connecting, keep your phone and device close to your router for a stronger signal, ensuring a faster and more efficient connection.
How to test the smoke?
To conduct a smoke test, inhale a puff of smoke and use a straw to direct the smoke into the side gap of the device. This allows the smoke to enter the interior, prompting the sensor to recognize the smoke and trigger an alarm sound. (Note: There are 11 round holes on the surface, which serve as sound outlets.)
If the device exhibits abnormalities during use, consider replacing the battery with a new one from a different brand. The smoke sensor is a low-power device and can be sensitive to battery voltage. As per user feedback, battery issues account for more than 90% of reported problems. After installing the new battery, wait for 30 seconds, then press the device once to initiate an automatic check of all functions.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
